Sam, actually both of them were "then". The non Fenton slots was probably a week after I bought it, so that's factory stance. The fenton slots/L60 Goodyears was about 1974. That's Delco pleasure lift with extensions stance.

Yea, of course I bleed Chevy Orange, but my DD is a Crown Vic Police Interceptor. It has a unique stance due to the beefed up suspension along with everything else it boasts. Beside, my wife calls me Moses when I drive it because traffic parts like the Red Sea in the #3 lane on any interstate!

Nice! What year is this PI? What is the highest Top Speed you've had it up to?

It's an '06 out of Auburn Ala. Smooth as glass with 97000 on it. Tight, solid and fast. With the 3:55 gears it was about done at 127 one night on rt 295 here in Jersey.

Here's my battle cruiser. Reprogrammed the computer to eliminate the speed limiter, firmed up the shift points, added stainless steel longtube headers, no cats, and 2 1/2" exhaust, Hotchkis LCA's and sway bars. I'm planning to swap the 2:56 gears to a 3:73 POSI setup soon, but she really pulls on the highway.

Scott county sherriffs dept runs crown vics yet. Motors stand up, trannys tend to leave. They've picked up a few Chevy SUV police packages. Work better in the snow.
