That's a great look Helmut. Maybe some L60 and G60 Poly's ?

I like it. :)

Just what I was thinking... Thanks!

Thanks to Helmut for tipping me off to these original Ansen Sprint wheels. Could use new front springs but like the look and stance.

Another "kill shot"

This one says it all.

Since this is back to the top....

I like this picture I took of my car a few months ago. Just a slight amount of rake and larger tires / wider wheels in the rear.

That Chevelle is sweet, but I smile every time I see that red 67 SS!

NorCam 11-17-2019 02:51 PM

Wasn’t there a thread on Grady’s red 67 SS? I can’t seem to find it?

Stance...

The 'stance' of a muscle car is kind of like...its attitude. The stance make a statement...don't mess with me, I'm a race car and you aren't.

One of my personal favorites is the Motion Camaro owned by Mark Hassett...it was a blue 68 I think...with an L88...it just had the right look...sorry, I mean stance :cool2:

We got to see Mark's '68 Motion Camaro make a few 1/4 mile passes at SCR this year. What a great car.

I haven't had much time to work on my latest L78 as the white stuff fell soon after I got it.
Once I put a tire on it the stance will probably change.

My 66 Chevelle with 255/70-15 on 8 inch on the rear and 215/70-15 on 6 inch on the front. With NOS station wagon springs in the rear.

ss427copo 11-24-2019 04:32 AM

Timeless look...

Cragars on the Chevelle and Camaro simply continue to be the hot set-up. Both have the “stance”, correct offset and tire combos. Like a trip back 50 years ago on your favorite Saturday night cruise. I know they were for me, even today....

Love it! What size wheels / tires are you running up front?

ss427copo 11-26-2019 02:06 AM

Fills the wheel well.....

Nice looking Nova Ken ! But knowing you as long as I have
I remember seeing you roll into the staging lanes with the biggest oversize racing slicks on your Grand National that extended so far outside the wheel wells that it looked like a street
freak ! The good old days. When all we cared about stance and tire size was what would shave a tenth off our 60 foot times! We need to go back there.

Day 2 that Nova !

I've had this photo, in about 16x20 size, framed and hanging in my garage for well over ten years. Thanks again Jeff!

She floated down the road with a 427, 2.73 gears and a T400. Should never have sold it 5 years ago. Was solid as a rock, Canadian car. Back in Ontario, Canada where she was born.
