And the ultra rare Mark Ten CD ignition. I think that makes this a Phase 3 car for sure. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
Charley,
The "army" green paint used on Corvettes was bought from the United States Army after the war ended. Chevy bought hundred of thousands of gallons. I am sure VettefinderJim and other corvette guys will chime in. -Dan |
Re: Chasing the Local legendary cars.
Charlie,
-------That engine stamp is kinda interesting. Anyone notice the two different Hs? One wide and one a bit narrower. Obviously not making any statements about authenticity. It is just cool to see the use of the two slightly different Hs. Some over-anal NCRS judge would have a hissey, but the guys who know would go "WOW, thats a bit different". You can just never say you have seen it all with GM. They even keep throwing curves at you 37 years later! -------Thanks again for the picture show, Charlie. That is one original ol Vette you got there. Have also never seen that front cross-member green stripe before. Got to think about that for awhile.............Bill S |
