Hill climb in Empire, Michigan.

The Z belonged to Fred Meissinger, who was a GM/Chevrolet executive. He retired as the Plant Manager for the Adrian manufacturing plant.

The Corvette belonged to Denny Hall, also a GM exec. Denny was head of CPC Advanced Manufacturing engineering when he retired.

Yes - Mr Wangers won that matchup, as you might expect, but left too soon in the &quot;Little Eliminator&quot; final round against Dave Strickler.
