Maybe not all bolts were off at the same time but the body has been separated from the frame IMHO. Jan |
Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
Stopped by the body shop today to see when they would be ready for me to bring the body there.....They are still busy but maybe towards the end of next week........I have plenty of time so it's not a big deal.......I ordered up the 4 wheel Brake system yesterday.......gonna order the suspension upgrades next week.....and I making a list of all the other "Stuff" I'm gonna need....Interior Kit, Weather Seal Kit...Bumpers should be coming back soon from the Plater...Dash Pad is finished and on it's way from Just Dashes.....They just had a couple of parts at the body shop prepped.......

Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
that's when you lock yourself in the basement and clean all of those boring little parts. hard to do when you want to hang big cool parts.

Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
Some of the purchased parts are starting to show up.......After doing the LS Swap in the 37 Ford, I was very happy with the way the Fuel system worked out....I used the GTO fuel pump/sender assy..........the GTO set-up does not required a Pressure regulated return line as it is a self-contained unit.......So.....
The new fuel tank showed up today and I brought a Fuel pump down to figure it out.......... New Tank http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC04774.jpg Tank and GTO Pump assy.........LOL http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC04779.jpg Hummmm!!!!! Now I just need the Pump assy to fit....I don't need the float arm function as I will be using the stock Impala Fuel Gauge sender.....So.....We need to get it as compact as possible...... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC04784.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC04785.jpg I am just going use the original top of the pump to seal to the yet to be fabricated flange that will be welded into the tank and for the internal pump harness plug to connect to the external harness....All the existing GTO gas tank venting will be removed and sealed off .......It seems that everything will fit with a small sump area added to the bottom of the tank.......Ahh!!!.......The Fun starts Before and after......... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...t/DSC04781.jpg 228 more days |
Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
And the fun starts again!

Re: Next Years Power Tour Car
