Quanta does 98% of all of mine. They are not technically assembly line correct as an original is cold rolled steel with a welded seam and welded ends which are blued from the heat but it beats paint! Only virgin shafts or NOS shafts can be saved with plastic media blasting and retain an the original appearance. Below is an example of a Quanta restoration after I reapplied the stripes.

Greg Gorniak in Dayton, OH does a beautiful job on driveshafts and even replicates the heat affected zone. He also will replicate the extrusion mark.

Rick

I'll post it right here, I'm sure he won't mind.

You'll be very happy with his work. Certain Corvette high performance applications had their half shafts shot peened and Greg also does that.

Careful though, he's an airline pilot and we know how they are.

Only "problem" I have with quanta. Is they send them out. Then they triple charge you shipping. They never told me this when I placed my order. Also, I built a 4" pcv tube( spent about $32) and they stole it and sent it back in a single wall cardboard box. When I asked where my tube went they said oh FedEx, broke it. Didn't file a claim or bother telling me.
