These need to come back...are there any still in working condition anywhere? There were still 2 left in my area up to about 10 years ago both on route 113 a few miles out of south Dover.

Shouldn't be too far from you.
Always at least 1 show or cruise in the summer, along with a classic movie.
2013 was "Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World"

There's a couple in Texas still, but a little far from you.
From what I have seen they are run down and just hanging on.

re; The Goodyear service store shown in that link, can anyone recognize what city that is ? It's not Akron, Ohio.

Goodyear store </div></div>

I have this pic too. Very cool. Notice the blimp in the center on a display I guess.

This one (now &quot;Ford Drive-In&quot;) is still operating in the Detroit area They are even open in the winter! (won't catch me there in the cold even with the &quot;in-car heaters&quot; ) Ford Drive-In

If this is the one I'm thinking about in Detroit you wouldn't catch me there any time of the year. It's in a very rough part of town.

Those in New Jersey and Pennsylvania would be a hike. I wouldn't be able to convince my wife to go that far just for a movie.

Yeah...I have my own copy of 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad world' in DVD. That movie cracks me up, especially the part at the very beginning where Jimmy Durante kicks the bucket when he finally dies...literally.
