That was my first "real" job - supervisor of Line 1 Fender Set, 2nd shift, Flint Assembly (trucks).

Line rate was 60 jph; you had about 45 seconds to get the fender on there and reload for the next one.

You can see he's got a big drift pin to help guide the body down in location.

There's a guy at the LH front guiding the steering shaft down over the rag joint; probably a guy at the RH front that's going to do a bunch of wiring and hose connections, and one guy running the clamshell hoist.

Somebody else is gonna have to fix that "C", probably somebody "out back".
