The orange Z with orange houndstooth interior and the Dusk Blue Z belong to a friend of mine here locally. We purchased them out of the Mark Bulaw collection. The blue car does certainly has the orignal drive train and yes the stamp was mis stamped at the factory. He also had the Frost Green Copo at the auction it was originally a Glockner Chevrolet car and has paperwork.

However, there was no mention of any documentation that the car came from the factory with this engine installed in it or that it was a factory dual quad car. The T also appears to have been an L and changed to a T. This car did not have a heater, radio or back seat either. It was a no sale at $60K.

I sold this 56 business coupe about a year and half ago. It has went thru I think 4 owners since then. I am totally confident that the engine stamp is real. I had shared it with a couple very knowledgeable individuals and they also were sure. They only made 110 examples of 240 horse engines in 56 half of them or 55 went into corvettes and 55 in the big cars so this is a very rare car. I owned this car twice the first time I sold it to George Poteet but bought it back after 1 year.

----I was there on the 1st Friday but we were only there for the day and walked our butts off. Wish I could have looked at all the cars you have pictured, but it's almost better with the extra history that you provide to just come to this sight all comfortable with a beer in my hand. Thanks so much!....Bill S
