This Blue Fire Metallic 70 Hemi Road Runner convertible is a bench seat car with a column shifted TorqueFlite. I always thought there were only 4 of these cars produced with 1 of them being destroyed years ago, but there were 4 at the show. It's my understanding that the 4th car that was at the show has been inspected and is thought to be legit so there were apparently at least 5 Hemi Road Runner convertibles built in '70. J. Jordan had this car at the show.

I first saw it in MCR, on the cover. That's when I learned there is something special about '71s (at least when properly equipped).

Here are some pictures from the Super Chevy Show at US131 Dragway in Martin MI in '17. By this time Super Chevy magazine wasn't covering the shows anymore. There were maybe 150 or so show cars at this event and probably that many drag cars as well so the show wasn't nearly as big as it had been in the past. This 55 210 was one of the nicest cars at the show. It was a Street Machine of the Year contender at the Good Guys show in Columbus OH in '17 as well. J. Clifton had this car at the show.

Here are some pictures from the Super Chevy Show at US131 Dragway in Martin MI in '18. This event was pretty sparsely attended. There were maybe 50 or so show cars and 100 or so drag cars. I'm not even sure if the magazine had any affiliation with the event. This 66 Nova has an LS-1 with a 4L60 transmission. This car is local to me and shows up at all the car shows and cruise-ins in the area. J. Wrigley had it at the show.

These pictures are from the '19 Super Chevy Show at Route 66 Dragway in Joliet IL. This was the last Super Chevy Show I went to and the last time I was at Route 66. I hadn't been there in 10 years and from what I've heard both the dragstrip and speedway are being sold and torn down. Anyway this event wasn't very well attended. There were maybe 100 show cars and not many more race cars. It was nothing like the events from '98 to '09. This 38 Chevy pickup won the Best Early Chevy award. It was owned by J. Wicencyjusz.
