My buddy Blake W. snapped this great pic of my Dad'a Nova at a nice little show in Rockledge, Pa. It has all the front tire we can fit, and not much left out back either. |
Re: Is "stance" important?
A couple of oldie, but goodies of my Pop's race car and one of his current toys. A little of both stances. Up in the air, and lower to the ground.
My old playground when I was a kid... 62-64 Nova w/ a 426 Hemi and Hilborn fuel injection. This pic must have been before the injection was installed. I can't see the stacks sticking up out of the hood. http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...0truck%202.jpg Not long after we brought it home when I was on leave in '93. http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...kes/79Z28b.jpg |
Re: Is "stance" important?
Chevy II with a 426 Hemi?!?!? Now that's a street freak.

Ha. No street duty for that old girl. She made the North East drag circuit back in the day. New England Dragway the most. I put about 1,000 miles on her as a kid. 1/4 mile at a time in my head while it sat in our back yard in the 70s... http://i1164.photobucket.com/albums/...HawkUSMC/A.jpg |
