Add to all this, the fact that they have not updated the Dodge.com "build&price" section, and it really shows they just don't care. 90% of the problems we are having are directly related to the fact that buyers have no way to see what is actually available for options/colors/specs, because it still shows the 2022 information. And it's now four months into the 2023 model year and the assembly line has been pumping them out since December. Tthere is still no way to see what the standard mag wheel is that a car comes with...or the optional ones available, or what components come in a certain package.

I described the 807 to 797 bait and switch for the NBREJB car that one guy received: another guy just took delivery of a 2023 Scatpack Challenger. The 2022 build&price shows it as coming with a special interior with embroidered "ScatPack" logos in the seats. What showed up at his dealer had the base model, "rental car" interior with nothing but cheap black canvas material and no logos. He was pissed!

My personal opinion is they are selling off scraps at this point. They made another run of Durango’s and jail breaks and others to use up left over inventory . It’s all about electrics at this point and they just want to sell off whatever they have. I could be totally wrong but that’s what it seems like to me . Because they certainly don’t give a crap about any of their buyers that’s evident . Although when I had issues w my 08 3500 diesel pick up they didn’t give a crap back then either so IDK maybe it’s just dodge. But sadly I won’t buy another because the vehicle itself is very well built.
Although w the 03-08 pickups they knew damn well. They had an issue w the rear quarter foam and rust rotting and didn’t change it for many years . I got sucked in on that one on my 08 (wanted to wait for the new body for that reason) dealer swore up and down the issue had been fixed in the 08 it was not fixed. Dealer told me repeatedly if this 1/4 rots I’ll fox it free to get me to buy that truck. It was rotted by 40,000 miles. Fought me for months and months on repairing it. Then put a cheesy patch panel in instead of a full 1/4. I just won’t buy another dodge and it’s not because of the cars it’s because they lie to their buyers constantly about everything. Things they don’t need to I could have waited bought an 09 and been happy.

Dodge finally got back with me on the production numbers question, now that the 2022 model year is finally accounted for as of March 1 2023.

Confirmed as a 1 of 1 Redeyes built with my option combination of Octane Red with Demonic Red interior, Granite Pocket Wheels, and HK stereo. :smile:

And 1 of 10 Octane Red with Demonic red interior Redeyes, out of 68 total Octane Red Redeyes.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, they made a total of 881 of the 797HP Svelte-Body Redeyes in 2022.

As for the Buxom (Wide) Body versions, they made 1,518, which consisted of 1,056 of the 807HP Jailbreaks and 462 of the 797HP non-Jailbreaks.

They made 571 807HP Super Stocks.

And lastly, the 717HP version Hellcats: they made 1,070 Narrow Bodies and 711 Wide Bodies.

And ghost stripes!

Out for a cars&coffee event this morning. Lordy, this thing is stupidly powerful. After hibernating all winter, she's back on the road. You really have to acclimate yourself all over again to the on/off gas pedal and its associated effects on repealing the laws of physics.

It does put a smile on your face, though...and then tries to stretch it all the way around the back of your head. :-)

Added some miles and some vintage decals to the car. These are original 1970 vintage Scatpack Club Bees. I was surprised they still stuck after half a century!

Took the wife for a Mother's Day ride in the Redeye yesterday. I totally forgot she has never even been in the car in the year we have had it. LOL I told her to hold on and I hit the gas from a roll, once we were pointing straight. The Michelins planted, the car just hooked, and sling-shotted forward, violently. She didn't realize it was THAT brutally fast. She said "Holy Crap. I had no idea!" :grin: :burnout:
