Mike, i still have the same color markings on my tie rod ends, yellow & orange. I also have some blue color on the center link.

Yeah Mark my car has 47 years of road grime under it i plan on wiping some more to see what other markings are present.It needs a good Pressure wash but im afraid of blowing the markings off LOL .

Don't pressure wash a survivor car. I ended up just putting my Fiebird up on tall truck jackstands and spending several weekends under it with rags with a bit of little diesel fuel on them. It worked great and was very forgiving on any paint markings you might come across that you didn't know were there. Pressure washing will remove a lot of stuff along with the grease and grime. It's great for prepping the uderside during a restoration but not good for preservation.
