There were quite a few of these in Utah when they came out. Maybe due to being semi-close to Phoenix. I haven't seen one of these cars at a show or around forever. I always liked them even though they were a little over the top.

although i am not a fan of the name nowdays, back in the day there was not a us production car made that would come close to these in performance. i sought out and bought several of them many years ago. was fortunate in being part of doing the 3 97 20th anniversary cars. i ended up selling some of them but still have 4 machos. i have a 79 that is this black/red color combo like this 78. |
