I was going to say there wasn't a lot of "saving" going on, since once the tires leave the pavement you are merely a passenger.

But - he did have the chute out, which really did save him, so I'm going to go with my second-in-line comment, which is:

In fact - a recent ebay auction inspired me to do some photoshopping to recreate our Springmist Green '68.

I added redline tires (pretty good, eh?) but still need to put the black paint on the decklid and up around the rear window.

Sidebar - if anybody knows a good photoshop person that could do that for me I would be most grateful.
