What I like is when the parents get nasty with you when you tell their child to please not do whatever it is they are doing touching, opening the door, standing on running boards etc... You get the old "It ain't gonna hurt nothing"

LOL

A buddy took his Fauxbra ( fake Cobra) up on Woodward during Dreamcruise week, he must have been walking around, he came back to his car, a guy and his kid was eating ice cream in his car. Lmao. Too bad his kid didn’t burn his leg on the sidepipe.
I got him a DO NOT ENTER THE VEHICLE PLEASE sign, we used them on the turntables and platforms at the Auto Show. People go up on both to sit in the new cars on turntables at the shows, You just wonder about people.
In the big city’s, the gangs come in and lock them selves in cars, turn the radio up full blast, the high end cars are always powered up. It’s unreal.

I saw a family put 3 kids in an Isetta at a nice show for a picture. I couldnt believe it. Owner was no where around

Bill, that's why unfortunately you have to stay and "baby sit" your car if its nice and you worry about it. It's unfortunate we have to do that.. Some people just don't get it..

Car Shows...

There are certainly challenges with cars and the public...a recipe for disaster in too many cases. I recall a really interesting event at a local show...a car friend and I had gone to get some food, came back to find some guy kind of leaning/half sitting on the front fender of his car.

He was very composed...walked up to this jerker and said it was a nice car and asked if it was his...the guy said no...and with that my friend punched him and knocked him off the fender right on his ass. My friend offered to wait if the guy wanted to call security...but the moron chose not to and just limped off down the trail.

Now we can talk about baby carriages next...never mind, that will take up too much space!

People that don't drive their cars. Trailer them to cars shows.

They are CARS. Drive the damn things.

If I had a '71 Hemi Cuda convertible you would see me wheeling it around town on a regular basis.

I can't wrap my head around someone that treats a car like the crown jewels.

That would be like owning a 3 million dollar home and not living in it.

When people decide to test urethane Bumpers or nose pieces to see how soft it is..with a fingernail no less.

Well I for one have little choice. I put more into our restoration than I make in several years. Even though it is heavily insured its not about the money. Add to it that it rolls on 50 year old tires and it pretty much inhibits me from driving it. That and the fact that I have never owned a car of this caliber and want to keep it this way. I know it is a waste to have a car sit, believe me but I have little choice at the moment.

Kids riding their bikes around my Camino at a show scare the crap out of me!

Baggies on the pedals. Lmfao. I have a set of nOS floor mats I don’t put in, I get that, but baggies
The GTO natz was in the D few years back, guys had zip locks baggies on the pedals so their shoes wouldn’t get scuffs on the nos rubber brake so on.
Plastic Car covers at shows, that blow off into other cars. Another stupid thing.
