Wilma - here's another photo - I did not get any other shots besides this one. However, there was another identical Black SS down at Annsville Circle before I got to the show, I assumed he was going to Bear Mtn as well, but the show was hughe last nite.

The Nova is T. Wolf's from the Tappan Zee area of NY. I believe it has the block heater option and HD battery option. We showed together at our first Nova Nationals in Harrisburg in '01, he drove it to the show! Nice car, he won 2nd place for restored 3rd gen, and 1st place for Peoples Choice.
I saw him two years ago at the Nationals in Baltimore, he drove it there too. He and the Mrs. are super nice folks, and they thoroughly enjoy the Nova. |

Re: Bear Mountain 6/25/08
The Bear Mountain cruise has always been great about 3-400 bikes and sometimes 700+ cars. The 1961 Biscayne 409 I just finished some work on, the green Mustang is my friend Karl he is putting the car up for sale, alot of cars you have not seen before worth the drive !

Re: Bear Mountain 6/25/08
The directions all include the Palisades Parkway - you can't take a trailer onto the Palisades. Any alternate routes from 287 in NJ? (92 miles is a bit of a stretch with the 4.10 gears)

Re: Bear Mountain 6/25/08
I would think that if you get yourself over to Rt 9W, right along the west side of the Hudson River you can drive north right up to Bear Mtn Park. Cruise days are Wed's late afternoon, early eve's and only in good weather. Last 3-4 hours. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Bear Mountain 6/25/08
You can take 287 to 9W and 9W will bring you right to Bear Mountain when you get to the entrance there is a sign for the cruise. People start gettinr ther about 4 PM there are no lights, but plenty of food, drinks, beer all being sold and BBQ.
