WOW!! Didn't think making a website was that time consuming. OK guys I've started 2 pages. Yes the build sheet is on there. At least what's left of it. I will be adding more, but right now got to get some chores done.

This is my first website so be patient. I'm still learning.

Links dont work

Re: 70 Chevelle LS6 Just Found Any Info

Looks like there is more traffic than he expected. Acording to the link, here's what happens when that occurs.

What can I do when I exceed my data transfer?

If you exceed your data transfer limit, we'll temporarily turn off your web site. To avoid these service interruptions, you can:

Reduce the overall size of your site. If you are hosting a large music or video file, and it becomes popular, you could use all of your data transfer with this one download. You can try reducing the size of your larger files, or remove them your site completely.

Buy more data transfer. If you're a GeoCities Plus or Pro user, you can choose to automatically purchase extra data transfer instead of temporarily shutting down your web
site.

Upgrade your plan. Both GeoCities Plus and GeoCities Pro offer increased data transfer, as well as the ability to buy additional data transfer as you need it.

You can probably view it later when the traffic dies down.

After not being able to get on the linked website I finally got on and saved the build sheet to my hard drive. Here is the picture for anyone wanting to see it...

Awesome! Sure would be cool if a deal could be struck to put the car back into Ron's hands https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

After this turn of events, I am strongly considering keeping it. If I do decide to sell it, I have Ron's phone number and he will be the first person I call. Thanks again everyone for all the help.

Joe's got a cool LS6 Chevelle and it sounds like he's going to give a helpful previous owner first right of refusal. He's not being a bad guy.

Just about EVERY guy on this board has a car some previous owner would love to have back, whether for sentimental or monetary reasons. Anybody else want to cut their car loose so the board can have a big group hug?

FWIW, Kudos to Ron and wife for sharing that info. I know many would be tempted to hold that stuff hostage in hopes of forcing a deal. I hope your good Karma is rewarded someday. Best wishes to all.

Wow what a neat story! Is there a way the build sheet could be reunited with the car?

That is cool that it is a Brigance car. It makes sense that the Nickey card was with the car because Brigance was not that far from Nickey at all. Could have even been a dealer trade.

I wasn't trying to sound mean like hahaha... There is something to be said about nostalgia. The history of this car is really neat; I think restoring it like these pictures would be cool.

Re: 70 Chevelle LS6 Just Found Any Info

I think it is great also that RBodem, (Ron & Spouse), are sharing the information. I have had the experience of talking to the person who owned my car before me. Talk about holding the information hostage. He would not tell me who owned the car before him - the original purchaser. He has time-slips when my car was raced but will not even give me copies! He also has pics of the car when it was being raced and restored. THEN.... He had the gaul to offer to buy it from me for what I paid for it. I know he has the build sheet but I can't prove it and there is nothing I can do. Kudos to Ron and wife!!!!!
He will never see my car for sale - period!

Re: 70 Chevelle LS6 Just Found Any Info

A well known Corvette dealer in Ohio sold a '67 red/black 435 Corvette within the past year that was involved in a divorce settlement. The car came with copies of its paperwork, but the original factory paperwork was still in the hands of the wife of the prior owner. She was offered, as I understand, at least $25,000 for the original paperwork on the Benchmark 16,000 mile car and turned it down. I don't know how much she is holding out for, but the $25,000 figure didn't ring her bell.
