Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
So was it Tuttle? I live in New Orleans, and have a good friend that lives in Biloxi that lives and breathes Camaros. If that collection was here, one of us should have heard about it.

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
I think it's that Voodoo guy...stuff sounds familiar but I can't find any other posts...

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
I think Dennis Tuttle is the most slippery snake I have ever met.

I just got back from the place. The guy had some restorable pieces, and some stuff that was not the great. The sons that worked there were very friendly. I went to take a look at a 1969 L78 Nova he has there. It is a big project. There was a lot of other interesting stuff like the LS6 convertible. The car did not have any papers though. I wish I could have taken some pictures, but I forgot my camera. [/ QUOTE ] Lemans, who is the guy selling the cars? What is the story? Why is the "collection" being described as being "discovered"? Is it worth taking a look to see what is for sale? Reasonable prices? Appreciate the info! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Hello again, I made a mistake last night in one of my postings. Dennis is not the owner of the cars. I apologize for this and if I misled anyone, that was not my intention. Please call him and he can give you all the details on the cars.

Hey guys. Im pretty new to this site, is there another thread here somewhere discussing the same topic? I feel like Im missing something behind what is being discussed. [/ QUOTE ] Hank, I think we are all missing out on some of the undertones on this one. Not sure why anyone thinks it has anything to do with Dennis Tuttle (I will let the afore mentioned law suits speak for themselves regarding this guy). Is VooDoo who was mentioned in a previous post a poster on this board or is that an Ebay name? Evidently the LS-6 in need of a resto has been marketed before? DVSS seems to be quite the aloof master of ambiguous information. Kind of like talking to my 88 year old grandfather. "Wha did ya say?? Camaro?? Nope, I already had breakfast." It's a conspiracy I tell ya!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif This thread has better entertainment value than wonding what celebrity will end up devorced, arrested or in rehab next! (I am wearing my Free Lindsay Lohan t-shirt right now.) Tune in next time to see if the mysterious Connecticut Camaro Collection dissapears into a cloud of smoke and you wake up wondering if this was all a dream.......... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif |
Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Could be that dvss1 just doesn't like somebody. Post a phone number and waste the guy's time??

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Don't know. Awful lot of drama and left turns to sell a car though.

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Hi I'm the owner of the 67 Pace Car and the poster of the GSX and COPO. I understand that you all are dying for information and the lack there of makes you all assume the worst. Call Dennis, he's got nothing to hide. You don't think the GSX OR the other 2 are the real thing, go look at them. To even accuse us of some kind of fraud is ridiculous. The details of how the puzzle fits together between Bill Dennis and Myself are really no ones business but I'm sure those of you who have looked at the collection and talked to Dennis know exactly what the deal is. In response to the 67 Pace Car I purchased on EBay. I have invested over 60k and still rolling on bringing that car back to the street the right way. I purchased the other car to aid in restoring the original. We basically cut the donor car in half and in pieces. I know the proper way to restore this very rare car and for those who are curious georges, I'll make sure to post some pics of all the body #'s and what I did to the car some time soon. But that car deserves to be restored and put back in the market. We saved as much of that car as made sense to do. And no expense is being spared in its restoration. The car is what it is. To be honest the car was in better shape then I expected from the pictures on ebay. Needed a lot of work to say the least.:) And we didn't get any poison ivy or thorn bushes with it DANGIT. Should have for 16 G's.

They do have A LOT of cars there though. It was amazing to walk into a place with this many cars. It would be worth the ride is you have the time. I am not sure on the prices. I know they are asking in the 150-160 range for the COPO, but that seems high to me. They seemed to be very nice people and were pleasant to deal with. |
Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Can everyone just quit posting about this guys cars and wasting everyones time. I guess the auctions are not on EBay anymore. If there are cars for sale, other than these..post them in the For Sale section with a price. We don't need any more trolls around here.

Pics of the LS 6 just posted on the ZL1 66 thread. Several years back he wanted 25K. The COPO is parked next to the LS6 in the photo.

Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
What sane person would buy a car ( COPO or otherwise ) based
on one picture. Especially THAT picture! Is the seller kidding or what. I mean come-on! If you can't afford a digital camera, hire a kid to take a dozen images for $50.00 and then post a real auction. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif COPO indeed ! |
Re: 69 copo camaro found in ct.
Auction is closed. BTW, that is the same auction link as the one posted here on 1/31. Ebay auction #190077570279.
