Wow that's amazing. I love those concept cars. I bet you automatically grow a pair of sideburns as you look though all that stuff.

hi charlie....richie in long island told me about this thread. as always, thank you for the kind words. i see that even freddie said something nice (still not going to stop me from choking him). it would be enlightening to see this "stuff" through the eyes of some non-mopar guys. so if a dozen or so guys (or gals) want to come down while i am in town it would be a blast to fire it all up. btw i read where some of the guys on this board made some references to values and costs of this collection. back 15 years ago i was considered the "weirdo who buys the signs" at all the shows. plus the hundreds and hundreds of dealerships REALLY thought ed and i were nuts for buying this "junk" (then again my mentor, ed meyer, IS nuts). those were the days!! with regards to the elusive piece....there is one for sure. its the 4 sided plymouth rapid transit display from 1970 and 1971. all i have is a small piece of it so i know it did exist. stay in touch charlie. best wishes always, steve

raised in the low income bronx, curently in pelham.

hi steve...always nice to hear from you. love your chopper! soooo cool that you have it all these years. when i was a broke kid i dreamed of a schwinn krate but could only afford a sears bike. someday i hoped to get a schwinn so, in true complusive fashion, i bought the best set known. the sad thing is that i really would rather have my old sears bike. thats more representative of who i am. my kid brother did get a chopper like yours. it was a black 5speed. i was so excited that he let me use it. i rode it to the store. ran in to get him a yoohoo to thank him and came out and it was stolen. its been 35 years and hes still upset. steve you need to come out to socal one day.

One of these days I will make it out there. Tell you what: I'll race your Schwinn with my Chopper. Best 2 out of 3 gets the cuda!

Steven...awesome stuff. I think that it's great that someone had the foresight to start collecting "Way back when"...even if everyone thought that you two were "weird".

Thanks to Charley for the pics...and thanks to you for sharing! Awesome stuff! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Steve,

I'll be in San Clemente during the end of July and again in mid August. I would definitely take you up on that offer if those time frames work... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Very impressive Collection of MOPAR Cars and items.I love Mopars also and have a 69 dart 340 that is black on black that originally had a Mod Top.So far I find it is one of one.Only black 69 Dart 340 with a Mod Top.Not quite as nice as your Mopars though, but a very respectable driver with a SCREAMING 340.I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your collection keep up the great work in preserving those great years!

Re: The Juliano Collection!

i believe the red 71 hemi cuda was owned by Zach Reynolds of Winston Salem , NC. If it is the car, i believe it has 2000 miles, automatic on the column and loaded to the gills with options. I think it is the car. I tried desperately to buy the car , but, missed it to Steve. It resided in Mooresville, NC. I was a day late and it was top dollar then, now there is no top dollar. I believe it has some signatures on the trunk and was missing the trunk key when i was looking at it. I have a friend that just bought one of his cars, 63 Galaxie, with hardly any miles, 427 with some type of supercharger,???, has one of those special rearends , jet powered, can't think of the name, turbonique ???. It has a cluster full of gauges everywhere and under both sides of the dash. Also a parachute. When he lived in Fancy Gap NC/VA, he had the most powerful CB 2 way radios you could imagine. He was approached in the early 70's by the FCC and they told him to shut it down, they fined him $10k, then, I was told he wrote a check on the spot! Wild cars! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

I still have not found the pics of the Reynolds 71 Hemi Cuda yet, but the pics are from 1989, it had aces hand painted all over it at the time. Kevin did it still have the aces on it when you looked at it? How did you find out about it being for sale, because the former owner is a family friend and is very quiet about what he has.

Moipar Action did a feature on the 71 Reynolds Cuda back in the fall. The car is pictured on the cover. It shows pictures of the car I believe when Steve and his buddy looked at it. I remember seeing some "Aces" on the car and other striping around the original billboards. Cigarette butts from the early 70's still in the ash tray!

Some of the RTA display can be seen in these photos from the Chicago Auto Show of 1970.
