This looks like the car that was at Super Chevy in Houston last fall and I believe was from Louisana at that time. It was a nicely done clone with the trim tag removed and installed. It went to NY shortly after that.

Not the same car. The car is question has been in this area longer then that. It is shown here where the locals have no clue. So to speak.

I was at the Richmond, VA Super Chevy show in the fall of 2003 and saw the orange Copo from Louisiana and it's owner. A nice guy with a thick accent. Subsequently in 6 months or so I saw the same car on Ebay with a picture of the guy I met in Richmond standing next to it.

The interesting thing about that car was that most all of the undercarriage had been clear coated which took him out of stock & placed him in the modified class. I asked the owner why he did that as the car had been nicely restored and his response was that there were a couple of other cars that were stock and doing the entire Super Chevy circuit and by entering his in the modified section (due to the clear coated undercarriage) he would do better point wise at the end of the year.

Not too sure on his logic there, but hey it was his car. From the pictures I have seen here the undercarriage is not clear coated on the car in question which leads me to believe this is not the Copo from Louisiana.
