Re: Cool old ads
This is a Portfolio from Motor Sport Research in Des Plaines Il.A fascinating folder filled with pix & Technical data. They go onto to say this Camaro is not for sale, but rather to illustarte their Craftsmanship. They dropped a 427 into a 1969 Camaro Z-28.

That's a Std SS Chevelle Bulge Hood. Not optional Flapper door hood,as is obvious by the Air cleaner assembly. Here is a MSR logo close up.It was huge,I resized it & now it's blurry.Sorry..Let me know if It's OK with you. I can reshoot it? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...o/logo0001.jpg |

You need to run to Lowes and get a piece of plexiglass, then run to Wolf Camara and get a polarizer filter. The plexiglass will hold the material flat that you are trying to photograph. The filter will help with the glare.

Re: Cool old ads
That '69 interior shot is pretty interesting. When they said they were 5 passenger cars, I did not realize they were ALL going to be in the front seat!!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif (notice the belts)

Re: Cool old ads
That ad answers a lot of questions for me personally. The grotto blue Camaro with a black vinyl top and white stripes. That is how mine would have been, I always wondered how the white stripes/black vinyl top would look. Not bad.......

Don wasn't the only guy doing funny things to Corvairs. John Fitch was probably the most successful American road racer until Phil Hill won the world championship in 1961 -- he used to drive for Mercedes in the immediate post war years with guys like Fangio and Moss.
