Im going to dig up a really old topic here... My brother had a camaro body traded to him back in the late 90's. Title says its a 67 Yenko Camaro and numbers match. Has a paint code for Nantucket Blue. Is anyone familiar? I doubt ill be able to log on here again for a while so anyone with any information they might have about it please Email me. [email protected] And before im blown up with questions about its condition it has been stripped for years sitting in storage waiting for him to put it together one day. And its located in the NFL AFC area.. No i wont say exactly where, but you get an idea.

Yeah it actually States YENKO right on. I believe its right under the RSS but its been a few years since ive seen it. But i know for sure it says YENKO on it.

Now that you say that though That really doesnt make any sense... I wonder why that would be on the title.. When he had the title transferd into his name even the new title had it on there.. conversion yenko.

Does Yenko appear on both titles as part of the model name not the registered owner?
Are the engine #'s noted on the title and the same as the lump in the car what's matching?

I have seen DMV title info from certain states that will contain 'Yenko' in some format. Unusual, but not impossible.

I have seen all kinds of crazy stuff on titles. If you put it in the box and it looked official, the clerk at the desk would just type it in. They usually didn't know or care. Same today. I took my orig 32 Ford to the AAA for a vin verif to correct a problem and the young lady came out and saw the vin and then asked me where the emissions sticker was. Case closed.
