Re: Condolences to Nw Yenko
This is very sad news. I had a few beers with Troy this summer, I believe Pocono's, he had brought on the plane to the SCR. This board is much more than car talk, it is like family, and this hurts. We just lost my Father-in-law a few days ago. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys....Brian Henderson and family...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif

Re: Condolences to Nw Yenko
Thanks again to all you guys!! Even those these are very tough times we also have good news, our younger son(who had to break the news to us)is as I type, sitting at the hospital with his wife(went in the day Troy passed)awaiting the birth of twin boys Cole & Cody who now weigh approx 5lbs each. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif This could occur anytime. LaDonna hoped they would come today since it is her birthday. Again the support of all our friends has really helped us make it through the toughest time of our lives. I will post the results of the delivery as soon as it happens. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gifJim & LaDonna

Re: Condolences to Nw Yenko
Had a celebration of Troy's life last night at the local golf course. Somewhere between 350 and 400 people showed up, WOW were we overwhelmed. It was supposed to start at 5 and the lobby was full at 4:30. By 5:30 cars were backed up to the main road trying to get in. Someone said it took them 45 min to get in. It was a wonderful way to remember his life. The majority of these people were there because Troy had touched their lives in some positive way. The ages were from 5 to 85. We are so proud. The posts to this board and the PM's have helped us make it through this very difficult week. Thanks to all of you guys. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif I did not realize the human body could manufacture so many tears! Re: Condolences to Nw Yenko
Cole & Cody came at 1:15A.M. Weight 5lb12oz and 5lb10oz. Mom and babies are doing fine. This definitely adds a huge ray of light to the otherwise dark month we have had. They have issues with genetic birth defects but nothing that can't be fixed. Thanks to all on this board who have shown compassion and support to us during these times. Jim & LaDonna (P.S. Dale Jr. won the 500 for one of his biggest fans, Troy) https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Re: Condolences to Nw Yenko

This Camaro fan was about the same weight when he was born. Also had a defect that kept him in the hospital for a month. Now look at him. They are incredible human beings. |
