I bought a pair of dated original shocks for my 71 TA. Scheduled USPS delivery was to be Dec.18th. Still MIA. I don't believe the eBay seller insured them and is giving me every excuse there is :(

I bet they'll still show. I had NOS mats shipped USPS 2 day priority that took at least 14 days, to arrive. Tracking was all but "dead" online, and continued to indate they would be delivered by December 7th right up until they were delivered weeks later.

I'm still waiting for a pair of NOS lens's I bought from the 427 king on December 13th sent usps.


UPS and FedEx both have a "cheap" shipping option, sometimes called Smart Post, to use the usps to get a package to it's final destination and it sucks. They usually don't reveal that before purchase and we have renamed this service Stupid Post.



Shipping insurance ?? My take on that is, they make it sound good, until you need to make a claim and THEN all the loop holes they have built in are a nightmare to work thru. And Chuck is right, they don't hesitate to take the money for said insurance, but they don't see any need to pay a legitimate claim.



Ebay's "buyer protection" is a deception of words. It really means, they will protect the SELLER from any claim made by the buyer. Not worth the bandwidth space it takes on a server.

Just received a Christmas card from Tennessee to Massachusetts took 10 days arrived 12/26

My Inline Tube parts made it back to Iowa but have been sitting in Des Moines since 12/21/20 so I'm at 4 weeks and counting. Ironically I bought a couple relays from a guy in Eugene, OR on 12/21/20 and they arrived yesterday and came through the Des Moines USPS office too.

I mailed a set of license plates from Hillsboro Beach Florida back to the person I bought a Viper from in Cocoa Beach Florida 130 miles only took 15 days for him to get them

2 out of the 3 of my delayed items in USPS started showing tracking updates yesterday.

Same thing has happened to me thru USPS. . Part ordered from Chicago and ended up on the East Coast. Took 3 to 4 weeks to finally arrive. Tough times with all this stuff going on.

My parts shipped out of Des Moines over the weekend and are now back in Michigan where they were originally shipped from 4 weeks ago and still show an expected arrival date of 12/12/20.

Mine showed up & faith renewed! Hang in there!

I just had a book delivered yesterday that tracking showed had never even been picked up by USPS on Dec 10 (Reno NV to NJ). So the package backlog is moving and getting delivered, but the tracking system must have broken!

Got a 'late notice' from the local cable company dated 12/8...it arrived yesterday [12/28]. Called them to complain since the bill had been paid on time...the lady said they were not responsible for errors made by their accounting office or delays by the postal service :blush:

She will be happy next week when we cancel our VOIP service and go with another provider...these local cable companies rarely have competition so customer service is a non-issue to them.

Yeah we had similar issues with cable, then satellite companies, and ended up dropping them all together and switched over to Sling. Been a couple years ago now. It was good at first but now even Sling is starting to monkey around with channel packages, paying for a certain channel only to find that you also have to pay additional charges for certain shows that are supposed to appear on those channels, like Motortrend on Demand for instance.
Getting tired of the whole deal so I rarely watch much TV anymore.

I sent a check in mail from Chicago to Bakersfield, CA on December 14th.
Still has not been received.

I just mailed a small envelope with a flash drive from the post office and they told me they were 10 days to two weeks behind due to Covid.

:bs:Mail used to arrive by 3:00pm everyday, Now between 6:30/8:00pm need to check it everynight. Some Bills r due within 2/3 Days. Need to go Paperless with All..

The last of my 4 parcels mailed on 12/14 finally arrived at its intended destination today.

I have Xmas presents bought on the 6th of December that are still in limbo...

Will this ever end?

I doubt it. I got notification last night that that my UPS package was on it's way, so I waited. Later last night I got another notification that it was delivered and there is nothing there. LOL

Amazon now takes a pic of the pkg sitting on your porch.

Amazon delivery people have been taking photos like that for awhile now.They have to or they won't get paid.

Ok, I just had a surprise. I bought an item that was in St Petersberg, FL. It entered the USPS system on December 28th, left the Florida distribution center yesterday (29th) early morning at 1:15am and I just got here in Los Angeles. :shocked: :dunno:

My package that left CT on Dec 14th has been to Boise ID and back to Ct and back to Boise, ID over the past 2 weeks. I live in WISCONSIN ???!!!
