Mark, did you get another 67?

Zedder 06-16-2020 01:44 AM

I’ll let you know in a couple of hours...one final thing to check :)

6t7 camaro 06-16-2020 02:07 AM

Good luck! I hope it all checks out. If it does, details tomorrow?

300deluxe 06-16-2020 02:57 AM

All the 67's are sitting in garages as the owners are playing with their phones and watching the Dumb Box "TV". Get out and drive em....show the youth a cool car. Kids dig em! MOst people dig em!

Yes, I really love that color too. I have wondered if getting the black vinyl top automatically made the stripes black also or would my car have come originally with white stripes? My car doesn't have them now after the repaint, but also the pinstripes that would have come as part of the RS package; would they have been white? Could my car have originally come with black bumble bee stripe and black pinstripes if it was ordered that way in order to match the vinyl top?

Dana, my old ‘67 survivor had a black vinyl top and still wore it’s factory Tahoe Turquoise paint... with a factory white nose stripe and white pinstripes. Hope that helps.

Very cool! I think your friend called me and told me about his car in the late 90’s. I have the info in a file upstairs.

Congrats Mark! When do you take possession?

Zedder 06-17-2020 12:06 AM

Thanks Dave. It has to ship up here, so my guess is 3-4 weeks. I’m just filling in the shipping docs now. Can’t wait!

Thanks Chuck...it is a very nice car! I know the fellow who restored it, so that makes doing a long distance deal a little easier.

There was a very nice looking '67 RS/SS 396 4 speed Camaro on facebook for sale today, but it might have already sold. I can't find it now.
