How good is their security? Asking for a friend.

If they need a top rated security consultant, let them know I can head down and will consult at no charge Charlie. Of course a private tour would be in order while there. I think I'm ready for a little road trip down the coast again. Been a couple years now and have some friends to visit nearby

Security in Canaukastan?

Why do y'all need security? It's to cold to steal anything up there.

I know I have said it before, but it’s times like this that I wish I was born rich instead of good looking!

Brothers collection

The original owner Jennings B. Summerour of my Black 68 L72 Biscayne with 1000 miles was the original owner of the 34 mile 1970 red Ls6 that’s parked under the Chevrolet sign. Both of them were bought new at East Point Chevrolet in Atlanta Ga. They got sold together in 1978. Then got split up. I can’t wait for the opening.

flyingn 03-18-2019 10:38 PM

breathtaking, to say the least. wow. Cant wait to see it finished

Will the museum be open to the public once set-up is completed? Awesome group of vehicles! Must be fun to be a buyer for them!!!

Charley Lillard 03-19-2019 08:15 PM

It will be open on a limited basis. They have also installed a commercial kitchen in case something like a non profit wants to have a fundraising dinner etc. Any proceeds from the Museum will go to charities. I'm not any kind of official buyer for them. People just seem to know I know them and approach me with cars. I pass the info along. I met them years ago when a broker asked if he could ship me a Trans Am convert they had just purchased in SF. One of the Brother's showed up with a open trailer a few days later to haul it home. Ive been miserable ever since.....

Charley Lillard 03-20-2019 02:51 PM

The Brother responded saying he's been miserable ever since as well.

Is the Suydam Collection available in a museum for viewing or just private?

Charley Lillard 03-21-2019 03:55 AM

I think Kevin's is private but I think he has let car clubs in etc.

TimG 03-21-2019 02:35 PM

Having never been to Oregon, I have a double reason to try to get there for a visit.

Charlie:

I don't see any of the AFX race cars the Brothers own in those photos.

southernfriedcj 03-24-2019 07:19 PM

Are "the Brothers" brothers? Is their last name Brothers? Both?

UNREAL!!
They not only cornered the 69 TA Vert Market it looks like they also cornered the 70 RA-4 TA market, at least the white ones, They need a Blue one. I'm sure they have there share of Super Duty's also.
Now I know where all of the 70-71 HEMI Cuda verts went to.
You have to admit, they have Exquisite Taste in cars.

I haven't heard anything on the progress of the Brothers Collection Museum in a long time. Has anyone heard any updates? I would really like to make some plans to go see their museum once it opens. It looks amazing! Thanks for any information you can provide. Thanks goodness MCACN isn't too far away so I can get my Muscle Car fix!! LOL!!

The Brother's are still in the process of staging cars. I think they will have 5 cars at MCACN this year.

69SSRSL89 11-04-2019 01:19 AM

Thank you very much for the update Charlie. I appreciate it. I look forward to making plans to go check out their amazing museum once they open the doors. It looks unbelievable so far. I look forward to seeing what they plan to bring to MCACN in a few weeks.

Well we've kept quiet too long and it's finally time to reveal the truth.

They are almost finished. They have put a ton of effort into this. Truly amazing.

Un...real. Thanks for the pics

Charley Lillard 01-31-2020 02:51 AM

Tip of the iceberg.

Charley Lillard 01-31-2020 02:55 AM

The cool part is that the Museum will be available for car club meetings etc. In exchange they would ask the club make a donation that will all go to charity.

mssl72 01-31-2020 04:55 AM

What they've done so far is very impressive!! I hope to get there someday.

njsteve 01-31-2020 10:27 AM

Amazing! I see a familiar car or two there. :-)

Impressive; adj, vr. 1. Describing something that exceeds expectations and makes one use expletives. “Wholly shiznat! :eek2:“. 2. The use of physical actions to justify and enforce your viewpoint. “Wholly (boooiinnnggg) Shiznat!:eek2:”

Man, I gotta see this place! Thanks for sharing, Charlie.
