Where are all the pussy cats :hmmm: here kitty kitty

X66 714 03-09-2019 01:12 AM

I had a pet skunk for about a year. She used to go everywhere with me. Cruised Speedway with me. Even walked her on a leash. You know you can have an entire sidewalk to yourself if you're walking a skunk?...Joe

Billohio 03-09-2019 03:46 PM

We had a kid at the local fair that was walking around holding her skunk. Made you stop and look. Do you have any pictures on the leash? Friend of mine descented a few and said they were bettter pets than cats. The last one he did was for a lady. He went over to visit her and the skunk came over and jumped up on his lap on the couch. Might freak out most people!

X66 714 03-09-2019 05:34 PM

No pictures Bill. I think that was close to 40 years ago. Skunk jumping on your lap might cause a person to spray more than the skunk :)

Joe

I'm a bit late to add to this fun thread about our favorite four legged parts of our families, but this is my muscle dog and muscle cars. LOL!! This is my best bud Enzo. He likes to go for cruises in the convertible and supervise/take a nap while I work on the 1969 SS/RS 396.

The black one is a Labraschund or Daschador. Looks like a black Lab squozed into a Daschund mold. Tiny little dwarf legs with a 110 decibel bark, and poops the size of a Great Dane. She came from the island of St Croix after one of the hurricane rescue operations.

The white one is a ChiRussell or Jackhuahua. Tiny Chihuahua head attached to a fat JackRussell Terrier body. Rescued from a kill shelter in Tennessee.

They spend 23 hours a day chewing on each other and playing tug of war while barking non stop.

Yay dogs!

And here is a photo of her trying to stand still (impossible)

And another photo of the crew after locating a mouse in a cabinet drawer and then spending several hours debating on how to proceed when none of your team has an opposable thumb to open the drawer.

They are still at it! She just pulls him around on the bed, flinging him left and right like he's on a sled.

He does like to intimidate people with his size and looks, but he only looks tough and mean. It would surprise you if you met him. He’s very friendly.

They aligned this way on their own, lounging in the sun. Gotta love a half dog, half duck hybrid - with that tail turned.

We are all stuck at home and doing some woodworking projects (the wife's new hobby). We made some new shelving to properly store our dogs and cats. We will need more shelves since we have a total of six critters.

Had to do some measuring of the other cats to see what size shelving we're gonna need for the mega-cat.

I love those mega-cats. His name is Turdly. It was Teddy until he had a bout of irritable bowel syndrome as a youngster. So the name stuck. 17 lbs of crabbiness. Here's an aerial view of Terdly.

And of course, the other missing kitty. Her name is Bella...Bella Fitzgerald.

Our kitties (Okay, well...Holly's kitties)!!

This is Cheddar, who likes to hide (or thinks that he's hidden when he's completely visible!)

He's a rescue kitty.

She's also a rescue kitty.

This is Jo Jo (Johanna) who was our latest addition.

She came from a PetSmart cat Rescue group. She's a sweetheart and plays fetch like a dog!

Attachment 162169

And this was Rusty (Originally Dusty...LOL). He was the most awesome male cat ever. I swear, he though he was a dog...and was the most mild mannered cat, such a gentle soul. He ended up getting kidney issues about the same time Holly did-and ended up getting fluids via IV in the scruff of his neck for a year(administered by me via an 18 gauge needle)-before his heath declined. He had to be put down by our vet-while Holly was intensive care in Socal quite a few years ago. I still miss him. He was "My buddy, Ruddy" as Holly used to say. :frown:

One more...Abby, on the left who lived to be 20 years old and passed away right before Holly's kidney transplant.

She was an Ocicat that we got as a baby-and was always by Holly's side even during dialysis. Rusty is on the right in this pic :)

We had a surprised new addition to the family last year. Her name is Stella. Some dirtbag piece of shit asshole dumped her in our neighborhood. I tried for 2 weeks to get her but being scared she just would not come. Finally with the help of some good ole American hotdogs and some cat food she finally came around and has been with us since. Staffordshire Pit Terrier. She is just a good dog that was treated poorly. The wife and I think she was used as a bait dog and to breed from the way she acts in certain situations. I swear this is what makes me hate people... She loves being in the garage and is by my side when I am working.

Our two rescue hounds, on death's door eight months prior to the pic. We aren't those people who decorate their dogs, lol, but the rescue organization(Mutts in a Rutt, wonderful) were requesting for a xmas calander.

And the old barn cat, some have seen before. Not a staged pic, kid caught it home from college a few years back,,,more of a motor head then the dogs. Still kicking and healthy.
