I left the floors alone (aside from sealing the concrete) due to the carbides on the snowmobile skis. Tracey and I ride a fair amount so we are in and out of the shop in the winter time and the sleds would raise hell with any sort of premium flooring. I keep my personal cars in this building, wash our personal trucks, and a place to hang and have a couple of :beers: |

My building is just a shell, no windows or inside finish work, so very basic. The guys loved it, as it was the last one for the season and didn't take a lot of time. Concrete was poured the next year. Yours sitting over a winter from the mason delay was, probably, a positive as you had a LOT of fill and it helps settle and compact it even more than the vibrator did. |
Northern Wisconsin is about the prettiest place on earth. Mary and I get up there on occasion to spend time with a college friend. Thank you for posting pictures, Tim.

Looks good Tim! Couple questions, how far is it to walk from the house to the barn? And did you do a full plumbing in the barn bathroom etc.? |

Great work Tim. I am waiting for Morton bldg co to break ground on my 42X48 building. I downsized from two homes to one, and part of my collection is sitting outside! I’m also gonna do a 6” slab with radiant tubes in it. No bathroom either. That’s why God made trees!

While watching the NASCAR race this afternoon, I snapped some pics of the shop as it is right now. I still have things to hang and new signs on the way in. I guess they are never done. This is how things look today.......

Your shop looks great, Tim. Your Laguna Blue 66 fits perfectly in there. There was also the IndyCar race at Road America today, I watched it and it was a good one.

Can you reshare the shop dimensions? length, width, sidewall height, roof pitch, overhang, roll up door width and height plus concrete slab thickness and flatwork thickness. Electric service 200 amp? Sorry if it's a repeat.

Love it Tim. Very nice and congrats.

Looks great!

The truck outside looks like the Chevy version of what’s sitting on the showroom floor outside my office.
Killer building and some nice iron taking a snooze. |
