Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
Boone knows where all the gems are hidden. Those General Bia/Belts are awesome. They scream "survivor". Looks like original tall cone lug nuts too. I'd love to do a report on that one. Is that Astro Blue or Misty Turquoise?

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
Yes Dave I know but with no stripes I like the look of the cortez silver black stripes much better besides I cannot afford your black car.

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
I assume you guys are talking about the black 4200 mile LS6 that was at MCACN 2015. I want that car. Let's not forget about the red 24 mile LS6. (I think it has a few more on it now). That one has Generals on it too.

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
I think the red one has over 30 miles on it now.....oh my...

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
Since we're sharing, I bolted the current smog system on that car. I've probably got the only pictures of that engine compartment with no smog system. I wasn't happy with the left smog tube style I put on, but it was all I could get on short notice. I had to get an entire system together when it was going up for sale when it was in Rhode Island. I've got better stuff now. The car should get a few nicer pieces at some point.

Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
Great guy. He loves the survivors!
|
Re: Wtb survivor 1970 chevelle
Incidentally, the family that bought that LS6 had other cars that the guy didn't drive. Anthony told me back then about a '68 L72 Biscayne with less than a thousand miles that the family owned. A friend of mine bought one recently and it turned out to be that car.

Brian, sell that Camaro and you can pick up the Chevelle...
|
I just purchased a 70 chevelle from Dave, It is a red on red bench seat 4 speed. I called Dave before the Scottsdale auction and he said I could come by and see the car. We made a deal on the car. The car was exactly how he described it. He also sent the car to a shop and had them check it out so I wouldn't have any issues with it. Its a bad ass car. I took a look at his Green survivor car WOW its over the top. I would love to own the green car also.

duskblue,
Please fill out your profile......I would like to be able to call you by your real name. If I were to Re-mortgage my house, sell all of my cars, along with my dog.....I may have enough money to buy Dave's Green Survivor 1970 Chevelle......and it would be worth it....well, maybe not my dog. Dan |
Ok will do
