We were in Bowling Green last weekend for the Nat'l Hot Rod Reunion and Beech Bend has a new, fresh look. The road into the park is freshly paved as are all the roads through the pits. If you've never been there, the entrance road to the park is one of the most scenic drives anywhere. I'm REALLY looking forward to getting back there next month. Beech Bend Raceway Park is a great venue.

With out the many sponsors that we have our show would be much smaller but with everyone else we are able to celebrate our friendships and our cars !! In all the years I lived in BG and went to Beech Bend; I dont think I ever remember seeing this car.. Very cool!!!

I do know of 68 LeMans Blue RS Z that had been in BG for years..

Being at the track on Friday is always my favorite part of the Reunion. But....... After seeing Jason's menu I think the SuperCarBQ will be tough to beat:)) I feel sorry for the guy's that are going to miss this event!

I have been in contact with the host hotel....Holiday Inn....and I can confirm we have special parking in an enclosed white fence area (same as last year) for our trucks, trailers and cars. This area will have security lighting on for us each night as well . We also will have hotel security on foot during our stay. Thanks everyone

After discussing the level of security the hotel was willing to provide we have decided to hire our own security for Thursday night. The grounds are fairly large so this way we will have a guard dedicated to the area where we will all be parked. The cars should be safely tucked away in the Corvette Museum on Friday night and most of us will head home Saturday afternoon when the show is over.
Me, Joe, Shawn, Doug and a few others usually stand guard until 2:00 or 3:00 am so we will need to make friends with the real guard so he won't throw us in jail! Lol!
