Re: Carlisle Solid Lifter Showroom #6 Pictures
I think everyone's comments about sum it up!!! This event will be on my calendar as a "must attend". I still haven't figured out what is better; the cars or the people?!? No egos involved here!!! Just mutual admiration and deservedly so.

Re: Carlisle Solid Lifter Showroom #6 Pictures
Here is a pic of the historic item from the Fisher Body side of Norwood. This was taken down from the Norwood wall and headed to the scrap yard following the GMAD changeover. Glad this item was saved and found it's way to SLS to be shown along with the cars from Norwood. Thanks Phil..

I have to add to the story; A while back Phil signed up for MCACN with one condition; I was not to tell anyone! Now...can you imagine knowing about this car and that it would be joining us at MCACN, but not being able to tell anyone? Well...the cat is out of the bag, so be sure to see this awesome COPO in our Vintage Heritage Collection at MCACN VI, November 22-23! BIG https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...isher_body.jpg </div></div> Steve, It was a privilege to reserve the unveiling specifically for the SLS event. This was THE building dedication plaque placed by GM on the side of Fisher Body front exterior wall. This plaque was located within 100 feet of the many points on the line where our cars were built by Fisher. Finding it was a WOW moment, but seeing everybody's eye's light up was priceless at the unveiling...the Norwood workers would not have it any other way! |

Re: Carlisle Solid Lifter Showroom #6 Pictures
I've got some neat ones to post. A bunch of candids and a bunch of that 68 Camaro that was covered with real dirt and dust. It was the dis players grandmothers car. A 350/295 hp car from California.
