Pretty sure it will show Yenko as the dealer because Yenko actually sold the cars to the dealers in his network, and listed the cars on the 'Delayed Floor Plan' sheets with GMAC.

You will find NCRS as an organization does not share personal information, even your personal information if you are not a member and supply it to us.

OK guys, now starts the pleading, please be patient as we roll this system out. You won't get your answer tomorrow but you will get it hopefully sooner than later. with the Corvette data which we are still processing we average around two weeks. Because of vacations and business travel sometimes it gets delayed and is closer to thirty days.

To answer a lot of speculation yes down the road we will offer a second service much like the document validation service for the Corvette world.

It will be different but for some years some plants we will be able to validate original GM paper.

For some years some plants we will be able to identify the cowl tag as containing the correct body identification number which we can link to the vin, that wont stop someone from running a repro cowl tag on you if they know that number, but it will stop cowl tags from being swapped.

Be patient we are still testing that information.

Thanks Roy! Good luck! BTW, One of my Camaros I sent in was built in the Van Nuys (LA) plant, I do not have my hopes up that there is paperwork for this, but anything is possible!

Unfortunately it appears it was the final assembly plants responsibility to report the stuff, our records are more of a central office nature however so keep your fingers crossed. with the corvette stuff we have found information on about 93% of the requests. There will be holes, it came from microfiche some of it will be damaged and some of it will be missing its inevitable. Obviously if information is not available you will get a refund.

if this latest addition to the service ends up being a success, will you expand it to the fullsize cars?

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services

From NCRS

We are missing the following data:
1969 Camaro 9N508855 to 9N587275
1970 Chevelle made in Atlanta, Seventh digit would be A.

NCRS does not anticipate nor have we been authorized to offer any additional GM brand information.

Carleen 05-04-2014 12:08 PM

Re: NCRS Historical Document Services

So from Sept 68 to end of Jan 69 NOR is missing.

Another dead end.
