SCR 4 was easily the best car exhibition I have attended in over a decade... Every car owner is treated like family as a small event should be... Very memorable event highly recommended if you are invited to go [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif[/img]

Brian, Joe, Frank - my hats off to you, gents. I had a fun time this weekend talking with owners and looking at world class cars. Was a great time catching up with old friends and making new friends alike. Grady, Mike, thanks for the lively conversation over dinner. Joe, I cannot thank you enough for spending an hour detailing every inch of my Z28. You're a heck of a guy. Brent, good luck with the COPO car - SUPER cool find and Marty, I hope you enjoyed the ride in the Z, next time drive it, please haha. Lastly, big thank you to Jeff Boone again for tipping Dave and I on the Z28. You're a true friend. I'm sure I'm missing other highlights from the weekend.

My favorite car of the group was Jeff's ZL1. The craftsmanship is unbelievable and there is not a single detail overlooked. Congrats Jeff (I owe you a PM). Fantastic effort across the board and the forum was well represented!

I have many, many pics than this. Let me know if anyone wants a CD of the show and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Thanks for posting the pics guys. Being located between Jeff's ZL-1 and Mike's 10-10 L78 made me feel like Rodney Dangerfield! Great cars and greater people - I really enjoyed the show. Thanks to everyone for making a relatively "new guy" feel like family!

You kidding me, Bruce? More people "ass polished" my driver's side quarter panel while looking in your trunk to see the Liquid Tire Chain dispensers or asking you "what color is that?" than even looked at my car... I heard "ooh, look there's a COPO" all weekend.

Well done on a great car. Very nice meeting you and talking for a while.

A&A Fiberglass Stiletto. The only other one I have seen on a car was on Joe Swezey's 1968 Dick Harrell Chevelle.

I would like to thank all involved with this years SLS4 at Carlisle. It was a great group of people as always. The setting the old showroom has is truly unique. It is a very comfortable area and the cars display very well. I was told at the end of our show, that Carlisle has invited us back for SLS5 in 2013. We will once again be looking for a group of cars and owners who would like to be part of this tradition. We are looking forward to the 13' show.

Now we will concentrate our efforts on the MCACN 25th Yenko tribute show in November. At the SLS this year we added an additional 4/5 Yenkos to the already growing roster. The staff and friends of MCACN hope to see you at the show for this celebration of the life, and accomplishments of Don Yenko. We are looking for any and all Yenko sold/modified hi-performance vehicles and memorabilia. Please consider being part of this historic event...BKH

This was my first time at the SLS and all I can say is WOW! THe showroom was full of incredible cars.Had a great time catching up with old friends (long overdue) and meeting a few new ones. Rick's Chevy II is flawless and Jeff's ZL-1 sounds better than a rock concert. The diversity of the cars on hand was almost overwhelming. Unrestored, restored & rare all right there to see. Thanks for great weekend guys!
