Re: Yenko Nova
So does any one know who bought the car. Are they a member on the site?

Would love to see the car - as is, before it gets sold a few times. </div></div> I'd love to buy it just once - & NOT sell it!! |
Re: Yenko Nova
Its been sold twice already and its not going anywhere now.

What does "....and it's not going anywhere now." mean? |
Re: Yenko Nova
I saw the car today. It is all there, but needs everything (in my opinion). It has been repainted and the stripes and letters were done kinda hap-hazardly. The automatic has the original "Hurst" shifter and ball--and the knuckle is still on the column and selector indicator is still inside the dash. That is the way it is supposed to be I'm told. I know the fellow who bought it and I agreed to "clam up" about price and any future sales or new owners. I have a feeling all this info. will surface soon. I also understand the car is NOT listed in any registry due to the loooooooooooong nap it took. It is well documented and is a worthy candidate for a full-blown high-end restoration. Stay tuned........................

Re: Yenko Nova
Thanks for the info. If you want to see the car restored right encourage the owner to send it to Donahue, IA to Ken Schoenthaler and company.

What does "....and it's not going anywhere now." mean? </div></div> It means the car is not going to be resold. |

Re: Yenko Nova
This car has been in the Yenko Deuce Registry since inception in 1996.

Re: Yenko Nova
We would be very much interested in working with the owner if he/she decides to do a restoration.
We would want to share the information gathered as it went through the restoration process with the members of this site the same way Sam did with the "Roof" deuce. Autos have some uncommon features to look for. We're easy to get ahold of either by PM, or e mail @ |
