Now thats a cool car. You mid-westerners set the standard. Nice detail. I hope it will be "out there" for us to see, at some point?? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/3gears.gif

Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle
Dan,
The car is awesome and I like the Day 2 look! You guys should be very pleased with the end result and the rewards of all of your hard work and efforts. I'll bet that car shakes the ground under it when that engine starts up. I really like the slicks and might put them on my L72 Biscayne. Congrats Buddy, Dave L. SoCal |
Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle
Very nice restoration! Like the looks of the day-2 trim as well. Keep up the good work.
-Dan PS- Hurst tires and Hurst shifters are two different companies (FYI). |

Cool car, hope to see it at a show in Chicago. [/ QUOTE ] Ask and you shall receive. Other than Marty Schorr, this was the only one sporting MoTioN tag at MCACN 09. Great to see this project in person and meet the owner! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle

Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle
Jim I have tons of pictures of this car and the other car Greg built. Are you going to do the stinger hood? Mark Johnson and I missed you at the show. Mark

[/ QUOTE ] Sorry guys, didn't see your questions until now. Mark, yes I'm going with a Stinger Hood from VFN. We have been working on getting a batch of 4 or 5 of them done for us soon. As far as the restoration goes, I've been acquiring parts and am about ready to get the frame blasted and powdercoated so I can have a chassis to look at soon in my garage. |
Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle
Are the hoods you are having made gonna be a stinger on top of an SS hood bulge or the regular type?

Re: 1969 Baldwin Motion Clone Chevelle
I know this may be a long shot, but Dan, is this the stinger hood that has the rear cut open with wire mesh?
If so, any close up photos, *anyone Thanks. |
