I always had a soft spot for these. Much cooler hood than a T/A.

Re: 1973 Formula 400 4,760 Original Miles
Nice car!!!!!!
I have a friend here in Houston that has a twin to it, but a 72. He found his in a garage here in Houston a few years back and was parked with about 6k miles when the son went to Vietnam. The son did not make it back and the car just sat. During hurricane Alicia in the 80's a tree fell into the garage roof and damaged the roof on the car. Joe fixed that and it is a time capsule like yours. Best of luck with the sale. Beautiful car. |

Bruce:
Many thanks for posting the pictures for me. I followed your tutorial but I just couldn't seem to get them to go. I even had my 16 year old nephew help me but to no avail. This is a great car and the paint is in awesome condition. The original Florida owner purchased it for his wife. She drove it 2,000 miles and decided that she didn't like it. He collected cars and put the car with his others in a bubble. It stayed there until 1999 when he passed and was purchased by the gentleman who insured his vehicles. It starts on the first crank and the choke works beautifully. The air blows cold and it drives like a new 1973. One interesting thing is that the exhaust note is almost perfect and is incredibly throaty. Anyway, it will be at Bloomington and I'm very excited about showing it. David Burroughs invited it to be in the GM tent. See you there, https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif Ed https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ouguysrock.gif |
