Hi Dave,

Thanks for the clarification. So the original owner owned it until 2006? The way it was presented at B-J (and positioned in line with Mark Young's cars) led me to believe it was Mark's.

I struggled with the decision to skip Mecum's spring sale for the first time in over 15 years, but, unfortunately the date change from Memorial Day weekend to the weekend prior caused a scheduling conflict. So rather than hang out at the auction I went vintage racing - but between races I was on the phone with Mecum bidding on cars from the track https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif!

Good luck with your sale, really a neat car. Reminds me very much of my 4k mile B5 blue 69 Hemi Superbee 4 speed I sold about a year ago.

Thanks for the nice comments. The Ebay auction seems to be off to a great start. It proves that special well documented cars hold their value through economic cycles.

Carguys have so many great choices to attend great car related events every weekend from May to October. It is hard to do them all.

With Dana's enthusiasm and committment to action I really believe that his Indy May sale is soon going to be a must attend for all muscle car guys, as Scottsdale, Bloomington, Auburn, Reno, and Monterey have become. I really like not having to fight Chicago traffic. The venue itself offers unlimited parking, inside display space for all cars, covered run lane, and much more. Weather is no longer a factor. It was very well organized. I especially liked the way that he put those that did not pay for prime time in during the commercials and all sellers that paid for prime time slots during TV time received TV time. My hat is off to Dana and his entire team for a job very well done.

Thanks

Dave Brewer

I love this car! I wish I was in the buying mode instead of the selling mode.
