If this turns out anywhere near as nice as your last one, you will have yet another great winner on your hands. However, Tom is going to be too busy this year so leave him alone! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Personally, I'd take leave it as is for a year or two. Great car to take to car shows (eg Carlisle) as is!! Then restore it if you feel the need.
Congrats! Nice car and nice docs! Never heard of that dealer. |

Ditto... I think this car would draw a LOT of attention as it is - perhaps more than it would as a restored car? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gifJMHO.
Don't you have a car that NEEDS restoring? |

Re: Newest purchase.. 1969 Z/28
As far as leaving the car as is...
It is a bit rougher than it looks. It needs floors and quarters. I just took out 5 gallons of "gas" from the tank that has probably been there since the late 70s. The person I bought it from removed the engine in order to have the block checked for cracks. I may have some photos of the car before the engine was out. |
