I'm in the process of tracing owners to a car I just acquired and does not go back to 1969. Do you know something different?

Boy, did that get folks excited. We bought our 396 car back in 1997. We have now owned it longer than any of the dozen previous owners. Perhaps things have changed since '97. I did get lucky, the owner I was looking for contacted me yesterday. He knew the name of the guy he bought it from like it was yesterday. (It can only be good when a past owner has a good memory)
