The reverse lock-out rods didn't work / fit when I installed headers on my Nova.

Tom,
Would the Hurst shifter for a Tri-five Chevy work in a bench seat Nova? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: Nova Hurst shifter question.

Here is where you can see all of the sticks available from Hurst: http://www.hurst-shifters.com/shifter-sticks.asp

By my calculations, stick numbers 238 0090 and 538 8022 look like they may fit well for a bench seat. I also need to replace my shifter assembly so I may use one of them.

Re: Nova Hurst shifter question.

I just thought of another question. Are all of the new Comp/Plus shifters identical with the differences being the handles and linkage?

Re: Nova Hurst shifter question.

Shifter "brains" can differ in the handle mounting setup (offsets, etc.) and the lower linkage mounts.

good luck, BCD.
