Re: Greg Cullum`s Glacier Blue 69 Post Sedan Chevelle
Looks great guys. Just one observation. I noticed that the little plastic plugs that hold the door panels on are the harder yellow colored ones. I have had those in the past and have had them break and split, and in general just give me fits. AMK Fasteners sell the correct dark brown ones like the originals and are very soft and plyable. And the nice thing about those are they are not just a one shot deal. You can remove the panel any number of times without having them break..BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Yeah, I know Dan. I regretted not going out to eat with you guys. Next time for sure. You guys have pretty much re-created a 1969 Chevelle assembly line at Greg's and watching you two work is a blast. Hell, it motivated me to go home and mess around with mine. I hope this summer that I'm able to drive over to Greg's in my own straight axle, altered wheelbase, magnesium-wheeled '65 Chevelle 300! These guys are good! [/ QUOTE ] Mark....I am looking forward to that day very much!!!!!!!!! Dan. |

Re: Greg Cullum`s Glacier Blue 69 Post Sedan Cheve
I agree, truly inspirational. Can't wait to see this one.
I do however, have a soft spot for the Monaco Orange. I'd be interested in what brand/color orange was used, Was it single stage, or cleared? |

Re: Greg Cullum`s Glacier Blue 69 Post Sedan Chevelle
Call them and get a bunch. I just bought an interior kit and those were in there. Call AMK direct for the newest kits. I have bought some though vendors in the past, and sometimes they are the outdated kits...BKH https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

Re: Greg Cullum`s Glacier Blue 69 Post Sedan Cheve
Hey Albert,
This Challenge goes out to you! How about a race at SCR11....your new 1969 ZL1 Chevelle vs. This 1969 Glacier Blue Post Sedan. What do you say? I know you never ever turn down a race. I`m sure everyone would love to see this happen. Dan. |
