I think all of us have been close to someone who has battled some form of cancer. Always tough but it really twists you up inside when a youngster is involved .

Definitley include Samantha in my nightly prayers and good man Joey for taking the time to do something nice for someone who really deserves it .I am sure you considered it your privilage to do so but still , your a good man .

A horrible situation and my heart really goes out to her family and friends.
My son lost his best friend Alex (also 15)to brain cancer several months ago and his family is devastated. He was sick and passed in less than four weeks. This is an unbelievable pain. I will truly keep her in my prayers.

Prayers from Alabama. While we worry about trivial things in our lives there are always people hurting and having a tough time around us. Anyone of us on this board could have a condition right now and change our entire life in a few minutes. My ex-wife was a Shriners patient all her life due to water burns as an infant. I have sat in the waiting room in Cincinatti many many times with children who had been in house fires, water heater explosions, car fires and just strange situations. It will break your heart to be sitting there and have a 6 yr old with no hair, lips, ears or nose come up to you and hand you a matchbox car and try to smile. It'll make a tough guy breakdown... If I live to be 100 I will never forget being at the Burn center. I will be praying for Samantha.

Done.

Children and cancer and losing a child should never be in the same sentence. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

Some of us members in here know that too well.

Just prayed for her and her family at 3:39PM ET. Makes cars seem very insignificant, as they ultimately are. As a word of encouragement...A friend in ministry with me has a that son was diagnosed with Lukemia 5 years ago at age 5, but has just completed his last clean check-up and has no signs of lukemia at all. They went through many tough times with chemo/radiation etc. Our God is able.

I will say a prayer for Samantha and her family. Hearing things like this happening to a child or anyone for that matter makes you realize how much we take for granted.

Prayers from my Family to Samantha! And for Her Family it is always very sad to hear of someone so young so sick. Cancer is something that needs to be WIPED OFF THE MAP! My Wife's baby Sister has just been diagnosed with
Breast Cancer and is starting treatment this week. Although She is not a child and is about 40 years old it is still very sad and traumatizing,so far she is taking everything pretty well but I am sure it will hit harder as a little time goes along. Please say a Prayer for ALL people with Cancer! they certainly need it! And support helpful legitimate Organizations that seek cures for these terrible diseases when you can. The sooner they can find cures the less we have to worry about our Family,Friends and ourselves being diagnosed with it.

God Bless

Bobby Dodson & Family
