Re: Pontiac Guys... RA IV GTO
Appears that this is a scam. On the PY site, someone mentioned that the seller cut and pasted the photo from a another web site.
People ask why someone would do this. Easy answer. Look at the result! There were 20 guys lined up with checks in hand, camped out by the guy's house, and elbowing each other out of the way to buy this car sight unseen. If the seller actually HAD a car even remotely close to the one in the photo, there probably would have been a fist fight between buyers to be the first to hand over a check. Picture rabid starving dogs, with the carcass of a pig between them, as they growl and bite each other to take the roadkill away. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/stupid.gif You can make up any enticing ad, and if 100 guys are stepping on other people's heads to be the first to buy it, ONE of those guys will simply wire a check and take their chances. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif |

...and not that it matters much, but a RAIV would not have 3.55 gears. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ins/tongue.gif

Re: Pontiac Guys... RA IV GTO
There are some sick people out there on Craigslist. A couple of years ago someone cut and pasted a picture of the Tirebird and offered it for sale at a million bucks. Soon after, at a local car show, people kept asking me if I was selling the Tirebird. I couldn't figure out why until a friend told me about the ad. We all had a good laugh. I told him and everyone else, that I would take 10% of that price in cash.
