The buildsheet should look like this... Hopefully in better shape. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Is'nt that a "broadcast" sheet?

My apologies, it is a Chassis broadcast sheet. This was on the tank of my LA 69 Z which was sold about four years ago https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/frown.gif.

I would look at all the normal z factors ie: fuel line 3/8 single, disc brake stuff, exhaust hanger, speedo cable hole location, shifter tunnel hole, and the most important on a la car if not stripe delete(very uncommon) the entire top of the cowl is painted either gloss white or gloss black depending what color stripes it had only on la.cars... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif

The chassis broadcast sheet will show the components used on the car and some that are specific to the Z28 so it's just as good as the buildsheet found on other years/models.

Re: 1969 Z 28 LOS ANGLES BUILT

There are two different sheets used. One is the Chassis Broadcast Copy, the other is the Body Broadcast Copy. The sheet shown above is the one that will verify the mechanical options used on the car.
I had this exact sheet (in better condition) that came off the top of the fuel tank on my '69 SS L78 Camaro convertible that I bought off Charlie back in 1996. It is an extremely valuable piece of documentation that proves how the car was ordered/optioned out from the factory.

Nothing on the trim tag will indicate Z/28 on an LA car.

[/ QUOTE ]

How about a trim tag on a Norwood 69 z/28 car built the first week of Dec 68?
