[ QUOTE ]
It seems that the 69 big block camaros came with a pcv bracket,but 69 Z/28's didn't.I have never seen a 69 Z with a pcv valve bracket,but 68 Z's are???? [/ QUOTE ] I restored a original 69 Z 9 yrs ago and it was on that car. Mike |
Re: PCV clip
I did look in the AIM for 69 Nova and Camaro, the clip is shown in the L78 option section it the back.
I do not see it under any Z28 or L48 sections. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif Mike |
Re: PCV clip
Mike,
I have a original 69 Z/28 and mine doesn't have one.Again, seems that the L-78 cars did get them and the 302's did not.I do have a fuel line bracket at the rear of the carb, after the Y-block. |
Re: PCV clip
The BB, Q-jet cars gets the fuel filter bracket with the return line in it, but I don't think the sb,Q-jet cars get that. Maybe it is a vibration thing for GM? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Re: PCV clip
My original 02D '69 Z/28 doesn't have the PCV hose clip either - it was only called out in the A.I.M. for the L-78. Also doesn't have the fuel line support bracket - although the ECR date in the A.I.M. shows as 10/31/68, I believe Jerry said it didn't show up in production until much later in 1969.
