My old '69Z had T3's which I thought was correct and my old '70 Camaro had Power Beams... which I know was correct/original |

My January '69 Nova and my late May build '70 Chevelle have T3s, but I wouldn't argue with you on the 'introduction date'. Could be a regional thing or a model-to-model issue too. If you can find the ink stamping on them that should give you an answer. I do think Power Beams were a factory installation, just don't have a clue as to dates.

My May 5th 70 chevelle was T3 also and she is a canadian car.I just don't remember seeing these in the early 70's but they must have been there since that is when I gathered the box I had. I always thought they were a GM over the counter replacement for the T3 but that is probally wrong.If not man did I leave a pile of NOS ones laying on shelves that I could have had for pennies a light over the years.
