This car should give you Camaro boys a "woody"... L78, 20k miles, all original, documented, one owner...the only way it could be better...if the owner was a redheaded nymphomaniac that owned a liquor store https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/naughty.gif wilma [/ QUOTE ] https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif That's a good one and so TRUE~~~~ |
Re: Original 69 Camaro SS 21k L78
I couldn't pull myself away from this guy he was just full of knowledge from back in the day. He said the mice did get into the hood insulation for the first time this winter so that may be why. He did tell me he had everything wrapped up to keep the gas cold????? This guy had a 66 chevelle 325hp that he bought new and traded it in for a 68 chevelle L78 4sp car. He said the only reason he ordered the camaro with an automatic was his new wife couldn't drive the manual. It made my weekend. This car was at muscle car palooza this past sunday! If you seen the car chime in.

"He told me in 1976 a guy tried to buy it from him for 40k and he turned it down. The car only had like 15k he said."
Jason, Not doubting you, but are you certain that he said 1976? It was just a cool used car back then. Yes, some of us were chasing them even back then, and it was difficult to find an unmolested Hi-Horse Car after just Seven Model Years. But wasn't the average American home only worth approx $50k back then? Very cool Car. Yes, would like to see many more detailed pics. thanks for posting. |

Re: Original 69 Camaro SS 21k L78
Jason,
I'd be interested in seeing many more images of this car. This thing is a time capsule. Gotta love it https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif BTW, $40K in '76 is probably $35K over the value back then. Remember, that was after the first gas crisis and big block cars were on their death beds. People couldn't give those things away back then. Nuch |
