If the sellers are too demanding the city will assist him with eminent domain in acquiring them.

[/ QUOTE ] Maybe the auction houses will start to help the bidders acquire his cars via eminent domain too when the "demands" are too high https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Belair, all you have to do is hide under a mushroom for seven years on someones property and you will be able to claim it as yours. I just got in from checking my trees to make sure you arent camping out with the keebler elveshttps://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif

Re: few more...

Now this really hits close to home and I do have a problem with people like Reggie and those who "congratulate" him. I just lost my house a little over a year ago to a development company that seduced the city council and acquired the right to declare my home "blighted" because it was on a dead end street and dead end streets are of little use to a community as a whole. Did you also know that 2-bedroom houses, regardless of condition, are considered "blighted"? Sorry about the rant but if you and your family were misplaced out of your home so a wealthy man can build a shopping center where your house is located(my case) maybe you would understand. Not a highway, not a school, but a shopping center. Figure that one out. Sure, I made a lot of money, but a forced move is a terrible thing to endure. Eminent domain abuse is a very bad thing for this country.

Can someone please explain why GM would make a " Reggie " anything. OK a rich former Baseball player that collects rare iron deserves a car?? I'd rather it be a " Warren Johnson ". He's built plenty of engines and cars over the years, not to mention his GM racing effort. The Eminent Domain issue only makes him look worse in my eyes.

Thats what i was wondering, what did he do for GM that was special enough for them to build him a car. I can think of a long list of more deserving individuals. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

I'm guessing because Reggie has a long history of collecting rare Chevrolets and he owned a Chevy dealer in the Bay Area a while back.

Or it could just be a case of the rich getting richer... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/hmmm.gif

GM needs to find a new interior guy. Check out the quality dash pad alignment job on the Reggie LSX. Maybe GM can make the dash pad manufacturers come up with a descent pad one of these days.
