I recieved an email from this guy. He is willing to take offers on the car. I like the car, but there's no way I can buy anything right now. If any of you are interested, contact him through his listing.

Same thing with me. I sent him this email: "Why destroy an original car that is that nice? Why aren't you listing it for sale instead of cutting it up. I cant be the only one who would like to buy it. Cant you use one of those new Dynacorn bodies for your project?"

His repsonse was "Make me an offer"

Please someone rescue this baby!

This reminds me of when a member on here had an amazing low mileage original 6 cyl Nova. Everyone was telling him not to drop in a 427 and day 2 the car but no one wanted to step up to the plate and buy the car.

I agree this Camaro is a beautiful original car but who wants a Camaro with a 6 cyl??? Maybe Kevin Suydam can buy it for his collection to illustrate the other end of the muscle car horsepower spectrum!!!

What do any of you think this car should be worth??? Perhaps someone should buy the car and give it some real horsepower!! White 427 convertible would be quite cool!!!!

I think that is the current owners plan. I personally would consider starting with this car as a basis if I would building a prostreet convertible. Its a very solid basis and much of the build cost could be offset with the sale of the original parts off the car. Don't get me wrong, I understand the butchering side of the argument as well. Check out the other auctions. They look like they build a wicked 69. Would you rather the guy start with this car or a rusty RS/SS big block vert?

Looks like these parts were auctioned before without meeting reserve. Ended Auction

Funny how things come full circle. I remember decades ago the antique car guys and hot rodders were at odds over the rodders chopping and modifiying nice orig '20, '30s and '40's aniques and classics.

Who ever thought the same thing would happen with Camaros??!!!
